Laugh a little. Cry a little. Love a lot.

Hope Remains

It wasn’t hard to settle on these words to represent what I pray to offer my readers because this truth has followed me through many difficult experiences and circumstances in my own life.

Crises. Abuse. Loss. Sickness. Trauma. Tragedy. Devastated relationships.

Help. Love. Redemption. Healing. Forgiveness. Restoration. Hope.

This is my story…that Hope Remains.

Hi, I’m Jessica!

And this is my mom, Vicky, and my daughter, Kaylee! (Aren’t they just lovely?)

The complexities of mother-daughter relationships are the basis of many of my stories. I find myself inspired by the Gilmore Girls-esque connection I have with Kaylee, who is living out her dreams as a fashion designer in Paris, and my graciously sweet mom, Vicky, who I spend time with every single week!

Whether I’m at home pushing one of my cats off my keyboard or sipping espresso in a Parisian café, you’ll usually find me writing contemporary faith-based women’s fiction and cleverly thought-provoking romantic comedies that point to Jesus. Because I simply love telling stories about life and love…and He authored the greatest love story of all!

I was so honored to contribute to Twyla Franz’s Gratitude Series. Click the image to read my thoughts on gratitude when everything (and I mean everything!) seems to be going wrong.

Who doesn’t love

a little romance?

When Clementine’s daughter convinces her to try a dating app tailored for the fifty-and-up crowd, she never expects a blast from her past. But will Grady’s secret leave Clementine wishing she’d left well enough alone?
